See what they have to say about developing on the @platform.
I remember seeing Atsign on a flutter event page for the first time and being immediately captivated by its concept, eventually attending all meetings and workshops despite the time difference.
With the @protocol's unique infrastructure, in-design privacy and off-the-rack backend, a developer has it easy with focusing on other parts of app development and ultimately reduces the overall developemnt time.
After all this time, I think the @platform has come a long way and it will continue to get better and better as time passes. Data privacy will be the most important issue to tackle in the next decade. We are already getting a glimpse of that by seeing the tech giants’ trials. Indesign privacy of @platform makes it unique from others and ensures people are really the owner of their data.
I started out as an @ppathon participant, and worked on my app, @famiy, which is still in production. The End-to-End Encryption and data ownership is the highlight for me. The biggest concern within a family is everything can be extremely private and no one from outside that family should be able to see that information. This is already taken care of for me on the @platform.
@family began development while the @protocol was still private and not yet open-source. As time progresses, and now the @protocol is public and is being worked on consistently and tirelessly, we’ve been able to revise accordingly to SDK changes and other incredible improvements.
The ecosystem of the @platform is my favourite part. Having hyper-connected applications is huge and makes life of both developers and consumers so much easier.
